Are you a college student who has played on a team, has moderate writing skills and 1) want to earn money and 2) generate a following from sharing your training tips and techniques?
CampusAthletes.com is a new knowledge sharing site that allows former and current athletes to share sports fundamentals with others - through an easy-to-use Create a "How-to" form. A "How-to" is a page on our site that teaches a sports technique or gives advice on choosing the best training gear.
We Pay You
If you are selected as a paid athlete, you will be compensated for every How-to you add on an ongoing basis. The amount we pay students varies by topic, up to $18 for topics that review a training product and $10 for lesser popular topics -- and we pay more if you also appear in a video version of that same topic. If you are chosen as a paid athlete, we will supply you with a list of how much we will pay for each topic.
Your Choice of Available Topics
After Creating a Profile, athletes are able to choose from any of 2,100 sports training topics, categorized by sport. Topics are usually fundamental sports concepts that are easy to write if you have played on a sports team.
A preview of topics available to athletes is below...

Professional Editors Assist You With Writing
You don't need to be professional writer. Every "How-to" added to the site is reviewed by a human editor. If our editor thinks your "How-to" is missing details or is not clearly-written, he or she may send you an email with suggestions on how you can improve it. Our editors like How-tos that contain a lot of details, and which mention brand names and products, equipment and gear. Give details useful to novice athletes. After reading your How-to, we want other students to think "I learned a lot and will tell my friends to check out CampusAthletes.com."
Bonus Video Opportunity For Athletes!
If we like the quality your writing, we might invite you to a professional video shoot - at which you will physically demonstrate or verbally explain your How-to on camera. (A student must add a minimum of four How-to's before he or she can participate in a video shoot. We film multiple How-to's at a single video shoot.)
Imagine being part of a professional video shoot: professional lights and microphones, working with a pro hair stylist and video cameramen. Afterward, your parents, friends and everyone on campus can see your professional-quality videos online.
You will look good to potential employers, too. If you are ready to give your career a boost by sharing what you know in a professional way, Create a Profile now.
